Teachers and Administrators can add content to PupilPath Academy for students and parents to view through the Learning Materials Tab.
Where to Start
Go to the Learning Materials tab on the sidebar. Here there are two options to choose from: Class Resources and External Resources.
Select the course you would like to add content for from the grey bar at the top of the screen or choose from a full list on the far right-side under All Courses. The selected course will be highlighted in blue.
Existing Class Resources can be searched for by name and ordered by Newest, Oldest, Alphabetical, or Reverse Alphabetical.
Class resources uploaded using this area will not need to be linked to an assignment but will be viewable to Parents and Students in your class via PupilPath. Syllabi and other class information can be stored here.
You can create a new class resource from your IO Classroom files or from your Google Drive account. To do this click the blue button Create Class Resource.
My Files: The first tab will display any files you have uploaded into IO Classroom. Click the radio button to the left of the file name and click OK.
Upload File: There are two options to upload new files as a class resource from files on your computer or from your Google Drive.
- From your computer: Click the radio button for My Classroom Files. Your computer’s finder window will open. Choose a file and click Upload.
- From Google Drive: Click the radio button for Google Drive. The drive from your linked account will open. Choose the file and click Upload. If you have not linked your Google Docs account to classroom, follow the instructions here.
Create New File: Once your Google Docs account is linked, you will be able to create a new Google doc without leaving IO Classroom. Select the document type from the drop-down box, enter a title for the document and click the Create button.
You will be redirected to your selected Document type. Enter any information into the document and it will automatically be saved. When you are finished, close the window.
Once the file is uploaded, you will be asked to add some additional descriptors parents and students will see in PupilPath Academy.

Description: Add a full description to the Class Resource
Click Create Class Resource to complete the upload.
To begin, choose External Resources from the Learning Materials Tab.
Here, any online resource can be posted, including websites and public documents, such as school policies and calendars.
External Resources will be displayed as cards with descriptions. Clicking on the card will direct the parent or student to the online resource. Resources can be searched for by name and ordered by Newest, Oldest, Alphabetical, or Reverse Alphabetical.
To add new content click the blue button in the upper right corner, Add New.
Enter the information for the resource in their respective boxes:
Title: Type the name of the Resource
Description: Add a full description to the Resource
Link: Add the exact website or online document url. You may copy and paste.
Advanced Options (Icon URL): The website icon should be placed here. Many websites have something called a favorite icon, which will automatically be loaded. You can also load a url for an icon.
Click the Create button to complete the resource.
Resources can be edited or deleted by clicking on the vertical ellipsis at the lower right of the icon. The edit screen has the same options as the creation screen.
If you choose to delete, you will be asked to confirm your choice.
