This article can be used by Parent Coordinators to assists students and parents with PupilPath issues.
Issue:Parents aren't receiving emails.
Solution: Some parents may be using their child's student account to access PupilPath. If emails are being sent to all parents and students are not included, these parents will not see any of the emails. The easiest way to find out if parents are registered is to download a list of all students in the school with the student and parent registration info. You can find instructions on this here.
Issue: Students are seeing their numerical average instead of the Valid Grade in PupilPath.Solution: Grades are displayed in PupilPath based on the settings on the Grade Outputs page. These settings control the way the grade is displayed and the default marking period. Instructions can be found here
Issue: Parent has new email address and would like to change it in PupilPath.
Solution: There is no way to change the parent email in PupilPath. Any user in the school that has the PupilPath Administration permissions can deleted the parent account in the student portfolio. You can find more details here
Issue: I registered the student account but the password is not working.
Solution: If someone in the school is registering for a student, they must make sure they are logged out of PupilPath and Classroom before completing the registration steps. The registration will not complete if another user is logged in.
Issue: Parent is trying to register but they receive a message that says they are already registered.
Solution: The message is a disclaimer for users that may already be registered parents. Either way the message can be disregarded and they can continue to complete the registration form.
