When teachers create an assignment that contains required submissions, each student receives a copy of the file in PupilPath. To complete the submission, students must log into PupilPath and access the assignment.
There are two ways to access the assignment in PupilPath. The Event Feed, and the Assignments tab. You can find detailed instructions on how to access these two areas here and here.
Event Feed
The Event Feed displays upcoming and passed assignments based on the assignment View Date and Due Date. To view the assignment submission details click the pencil icon. Click the title of the file name to access the assignment details page.
If the assignment also allows student uploads there will be a option to select a file.
Assignment Tab
The assignment tab has three options to view assignments. For ungraded assignment that have not passed the due date click Upcoming Assignments.
.
Next click the assignment to see Assignment details.
Once on the assignment details page, if the assignment has a required submission there will be an option to Take on Google. Clicking this link will open the student's copy of the file for submission. If the assignment also allows student uploads the option to select a file will be displayed.
Note: Parents will not be able to see the Take on Google option. Parents have view only access to the file.
The document will be saved as the student types.
Note: The student does not need a Google account to edit and submit work.
Once the student has saved changes in the document, the status of the file changes to Pending Review. Once the teacher locks the file in Classroom, the student will have View Only access.
