When administering an online exam in IO Assessment, students can take the exam in PupilPath. In order for students to take the exam, the administration window must be set up for online only or both online and scan sheet.
Link to Classroom Assignment
Once an exam has been created it can be linked to an assignment. To create a new assignment click Assignment>Create Assignment. Enter in an assignment title, category, marking period, max point value and description. You can also change the weight of the assignment to raise or decrease the impact the exam has on the overall grade.
To select an exam click Link to IO Assessment. If the exam was administered for online and scan sheet, uncheck Online Exam Only. Select the Content Area and Grade level. You can find this in the test info of the exam in IO Assessment.
You can also select how you want to link the grades. There are three options.
Percentage - Links the exam percentage from IO Assessment. To pull the exact percentage leave the max point value of the assignment at 100.
Performance Level - Links the score based on the Cutpoints applied to the administration window. This option will only be visible if there is a cutpoint template applied to the administration window.
Raw Score - Pulls the number of points earned on the overall exam.
Once the exam and grade settings have been selected, choose the courses to link the assignment to and click Save Assignment.
