The School Standards Tree is used to import Common Core State Standards, New York State Standards, and/or create unique standards specific to the school. The standards chosen can be used to create a custom Standards Based Report Card.
Where to Start
Go to the Settings tab and choose School Standards.
Import Standards
Import Common Core and State Standards using the Common Standards button.
Alternatively, add standards from another school at your district using the District Standards button.
Choose the standards that should be imported into the school by checking them off. To see the available standard strands, click the + icon to expand the selection. Click Import Selection when you've chosen all the standards you need. The import process may take up to five minutes.
Click the Save Changes button when you're done.
Create Custom Standards
To add custom standards, click the New Folder button on the School Standards page.
Title the folder that will house your new standards and then click the Create Folder button.
Click the New Standard button to add a unique standard.
Use the new standard pop up to give your standard a name and and a description. Click Create Standard when finished.
Remember to Save Changes when you're finished!
Created and imported Standard Trees will appear below the "School Standards Administration" header
Standard Trees can be modified by clicking the black command prompt icon
Be sure to click "Save Changes" at the top of the page before leaving the page.
