In this lesson, you will review how to attach a file to a message using the Classroom Message Center.
Where to Start
There are two methods for users to access the Classroom Message Center. One way to access the message center is to expand the "Account" Tab at the left navigation and click on "Messages".
Another way to access the message center is to select the envelope icon from the page header.
From the Inbox window, select the "Compose" button.
On the "Write an Email" page, select your recipients and create your message.
In the formatting bar, click on the first icon - the paper clip - to attach a document.
This will bring up a pop-up which allows you to insert your file. You have two methods of doing this: Drag and drop the file in the allocated space or select the file, by clicking the "Choose File" button.
Drag and drop your file or click on the "Choose File" button. The button will bring up pop-up that will allow you to navigate through your folders to locate your file.
Select the file or files you wish to attach and click "Open". This will close the pop-up and bring you back to the "Write a Message" page.
Once you confirm everything is attached and the message is complete, simply select the "Send" button.
